< Sea of Love >

Top ten boys and girls ran the Stevenson Relays today at Stevenson School (it's a small but pretty boarding school!) We had to get to Tippetts' house by 6:00 AM. Yes, I repeat, six in the morning. It's my SATURDAY. ;;_;; LOL.

Daniel and JD wanted to get on Tippetts' car, so they just stood by the car door talking so they can instantly jump in the car when Tippetts opens the door (there's only 5 seats available for us to pick.) Well, we wanted the seats too, and we were way smarter than the boys. We went to the other side of the car door and waited. Joanna said that Tippetts said we could go on the car. So we did on the other side. By the time Joanna, Tiff, Rui, Ashley, and I got into our seats, the boys FINALLY noticed us. Omg, you should've seen the look on their faces. It was like, "WTFH? O_O How'd they get in there???!!!" xDDDDDDDDD Omg hilarious...... Tiff kept on shooing Ashley and Rui off the car just to see how the guys would react.

The car ride was about an hour and a half. Just a warning: if you ever sit with Tiff on the same car and she's within arms reach of you, DON'T SLEEP. Who knows what'll happen. =)

The course was about one and a half mile. There were 3 hills that nearly killed me.... >____<

For the relays, Varsity boys consisted of: Darius, Tyler, Doug, JD, and Christian; the JV boys consisted of: Stephen (I think that's how you spell his name), Tri, Michael, Curtis, and Alex. I forgot the order the JV boys ran in, but Varsity is listed in order. All the guys ran at the same time. Darius came in first for his run, but some guys from other teams caught up with them afterwards. Varsity boys got 6th place in big schools and V boys got.... 8th (??) in big schools.

As for girls, Varsity girls consisted of: ME, Christina, Tiff, Joanna, and Traci; the JV girls consisted of: Lindsey & Jessica as "rabbit" xD, Rui, Ashley, Kathy, and Monique. Girls all ran together too. Tippetts told us to make it in 9 min (which none of us did =) ) and we were like, "Ohhh... if we make it in 9 min can we go get cookies and ice cream afterwards??" xD Use it as MOTIVATION. It didn't work that well though.... Varsity girls got 3rd place in big schools (YAY! And we got a bronze medal too!!!) and JV girls got 3rd place (they got ribbons; personally, I think the color was better than either 1st or 2nd places.) Tippetts said that maybe the JV girls could've gotten 2nd if Monique didn't get lost. =___________=

Later we went to the beach and had lunch. We ran into the water and let the waves wash over us. It was freakin' cold at first, but it got better afterwards. Then we played football frisbee (or was it frisbee football??) Everything was going well until Daniel threw the frisbee into Stephen's face. Stephen got a swollen eye and a cut under his eye. Geeee... After getting his eye ices and everything, we played football with an actual football. Before we went back on the car, some of us ran into the ocean again and got SO FREAKIN's WET. We were totally washed over by the waves. The guys were even crazier; they actually started wading in the water. Michael kept on splashing water at us; it was fine at first until he got a whole bunch of water in my mouth. I nearly choked on the water; it was so SALTY. I got mad at him and told him to stop. xD

Then we changed into drier clothes and rode home. Got back at about four in the afternoon.

Yup, just staring at my new background can give you a huge headache, or even worse, a seizure. Imma cause you to go BLIND! *cackles evilly*

So then... on Tuesday, we went to Boardwalk with my cousin, aunt and grandparents. My cousin was addicted to only the bumper cars and refused to go on anything else; can't blame him though, can I, when bumper cars' the closest thing to what he's got at his home country. xDD We FINALLY convinced him to go on the water ride, and he got addicted to it. Lol.

My brother and I went on the crazier rides ourselves. I swear, the Fireball is the craziest ride in the amusement park. It made our stomach lurch even without anything in it, and both of us felt like vomiting afterwards. I went on the same thing at Great America, and I'm probably never going on one of those again.

Later that night, we went to Santana Row and had dinner there. Seafood! The dishes did not taste as good as the price. Nyerh. The weird thing was when my dad asked for lemonade, the waitress said they only had strawberry, mango, and blueberry flavored ones. O_o We got one of each.

And on Wednesday, we went to watch the fifth Harry Potter movie with my cousin and aunt. Seriously, the movie sucked. Ok, suck is such a harsh mean word. It was.... long and boring. For one, if you ever read the book before watching the movie, you're always disappointed by the outcome of the editting. There's just too much in the book that it can't possibly be fit into a viewable length, so SO MANY things are cut out, creating gaps in the movie that makes the movie seem like it's not continuous. O_o I don't think I'm making sense. (hell, Harry Potter fans don't murder me after reading my personal opinions despite that fact I keep using "you" in it)

Yah, I also bought a new CD. "We Are Not Alone" by Breaking Benjamin.

I need to finish my summer homework. I need to stop eating so much.

So yeah, all the TAs from the Wisdom Summer Culture Camp had a party at Outback Friday night. We were so freakin' loud in the restaurant that I have expected someone to kick us out. Well, when we left, I DID see some of the expressions of people dining there. Those faces spoke what-the-hell-don't-these-stupid-teenagers-have-any-respect-for-the-people-eating-in-this-restaurant. I'll bet the employees were GLAD we finally finished and walked out.

Lolz, some of us had pizzas before we went to Outback (from lunch, since there were A LOT of leftovers), so the table I sat in (we had two tables) only ordered desserts. Kyahahahaha xD Grace ordered a pasta cause she was hungry, but the food never came =________= but it was charged on the check. Cheryl joked that we could have 20% off because they forgot our food.

After the dinner, everyone decided to go watch a movie. They decided on watching Chuck and Lrry (funny thing, nobody wanted to watch Harry Potter). I was the ONLY one who didn't watch.... I couldn't wear my contacts for that long.... (SO ANYONE WANNA WATCH A MOVIE ON FRIDAY? & THEN WE CAN HAVE DINNER TOGTHER!! Tell me, k?)

Being a TA at the camp was FUN. I want to go again next year =D You get to meet new friends, hang out with little kids, and see professionals act and perform in fromt of you for FREE. -sigh- It's just like meeting my idols.
